How Commercial Was Your Christmas

As we are all soon emerging from a great year end break, I am mindful of how sometimes even with the best of intentions we can sometimes tend to over commercialize Christmas. Maybe it’s those cute whatevers we thoughtfully bought for our kids or friends… Or that too-good-to-pass-up “doorbuster” deal that positioned how much we saved instead of how much we spent… Or the money we spent on crass lights and the electricity that powers them (which we maybe could have given to a charity?)…

Not to be a Scrooge, but before we leave another Christmas behind and get back to the grind, I thought it might be nice to reflect on the wisdom Charlie’s friend Linus shares.

Any favorite traditions you used this year (or wished you did) to “keep it real” this Christmas?
